Small team, full attention
Hollow Oak started in 2016 in a rented bay behind the mill, with one bench and a stack of white oak. Ten years on there are two of us, the same bench, and a workshop people visit on Saturdays. We build to order, oil rather than lacquer, and deliver what we make ourselves.

How long does a commission take?
Most pieces take six to ten weeks from the drawing to delivery. We give you a date when you approve the design.
Can I visit the workshop?
Yes — book a workshop visit and see the timber, the finishes and work in progress before you decide.
Do you deliver?
We deliver and install anywhere within a two-hour drive of Almonte; further afield, we arrange a trusted carrier.
